Who is Daddy Gibs?
That’s me – Colin Gibson.
But colingibson.com was already taken, by this enterprising young man.
(He looks like he’s going places.)
I remodel homes in Central Mass, where I’ve run my business since 2002.
I shut down my business on March 16, thinking it would be for 2-3 weeks.
Ten weeks later, I opened back up.
It’s been making it hard for a guy like me who has a hard time keeping his big mouth shut.
I am a Lincoln Project Republican, who is pained to see what has happened to his party, and his country.
I am a father of two beautiful, intelligent, caring daughters. When they were younger, and I was carting them and their friends around in my truck, their friends referred to me as Daddy Gibs.
“Hey, Daddy Gibs – can you put on that AC/DC song?… Can we stop at Cumby’s for a chill zone?”
They think I’m gonna get creamed over the name.
They’re probably right.
They usually are.
I bang on the guitar from time to time.
The guitar is a beautiful Gibson Hummingbird, and it puts up with my rough treatment and bad singing.
I believe in:
